A day in the life of a drug user.
As can be seen below, the drug users routine is dictated by when their victims are most vulnerable to theft and burglary.   The most important thing in their life is to obtain enough money (without being caught) to buy the next fix.      This is intended as an example only, and should not be taken as a stereotype of a user;  users appear in all sorts of guises, and are difficult to identify - they don't want to be caught!!!

Time Activity
23:00 - 01:00 Most people are in bed asleep; Break into a home or homes, steal enough property to provide enough money for drugs.
01:00 - 07:30 Sell goods to whoever will buy for drug money.
Spend most of the money on drugs;  smoke or use the drugs at or near the dealers;  go home to sleep.
07:30 - 09:30 Get up; meet dealer & buy more drugs.
09:30 - 11:00 Drugs finished; find another home to break into & steal from (most people at work or out shopping - 15 minutes to break into someone's home & steal  something of value.
11:00 - 14:30 Sell stolen goods to dealer for drugs.
Use drugs & rest.
14:30 - 16:30 Look for another home to break into (best time - during the school run - parents at work or out collecting the kids).
Break into & steal from another home.
Sell stolen goods & buy more drugs.
16:30 - 19:30 Use drugs & rest.
